ABOUT US
3G Motorsports, established in the fall of 2007, is a competitive,
independently owned, professional motorsports business. Based in
Greensboro, North Carolina conveniently located off I40/85, the facility is
about an hour drive from Charlotte and Raleigh. 3G Motorsports is also a
short drive from the premier road course at Virginia International Raceway! The
team’s involvement with professional racing spans 13 years. It
includes NASCAR, Grand-Am, ALMS, World Challenge, NASA, PCA and BMW CCA.
At 3G Motorsports we focus on the “Engineered Solutions” to your
race or track car as well as improving our driver’s “Racecraft”. 3G
Motorsports provides trackside support and driver development through data
analysis, vehicle preparation, chassis setup, and professional coaching from
several of the best road racing drivers in the industry.
3G Motorsports is an authorized dealership for Motec, Moton, Haltech and AIM.

OUR TEAM
Greg Jones: With a
background in engineering and over 13 years of professional race experience,
Greg brings unique perspective to 3G Motorsports. He worked as a research and
development engineer for several NASCAR teams. Greg has served as Crew Chief,
Engineer, and Team manager for multiple Grand-Am and ALMS Porsche teams. His
current association with Stevenson Motorsports and their #57 Pontiac has him in
the role of Data Acquisition Engineer. He founded 3G in 2007 with a focus on
utilizing “engineered solutions” to develop both the car and driver. Greg’s
perfectionist nature and competitive drive ensures high quality products and
attention to each detail.
Greg Turner: Greg T’s loyalty, dedication and drive to put only the best
product on track ensure a thoroughness that is second to none. With a background
in Business Marketing and over 5 years in Grand-Am DP and GT as well as
Nationwide and Craftsman Car and Truck Series Greg has valuable experience and
perspective in preparing and maintaining a car for a race or event.
